@BitMode
Get dell U2410 IPS monitor with 16:10 aspect ratio.
Don’t put too much stock in what you read on the internet because most people in those forums are newbies and complete idiots. Get the monitor. You’ll be happy.
is this better then the Samsung XL2370-1 Monitor and what should i get? for 22 to 23 to 24 inch monitors
@AsAnAtheistFilms
Ya this is so far the best LCD. There is calibrating software out there to make ur LCD look sharper colour.
@munak992
Awesome glad to hear it. I just received my Dell U2211H, it’s pretty sweet itself. Definitely better then the other 20+ non-ips LCD’s I have had.
@AsAnAtheistFilms
Hey, I got my 3rd unit from Singapore amaze by their fast service.
Luckily 3rd unit has no bright pixel. Im really with my U2410, Huge, Doing my work with lots of space, and playing games with hihest reso. =)
@munak992
Don’t worry about it just get it exchanged if it happens a 3rd time escalate the issue make sure they do overnight shipping or do something to lessen the time wasted like a free sound bar.
Dell has good warranty on their monitors.
@SKULLxSNAPS
I’d like to add the 2408WFP revision A was the one with the text issue. They fixed it with Revision B I believe it was.
I got U2410 and it has bright pixel.
i called dell they exchange 2nd new unit for me. It also has bright pixel.
Im speechless
JUMANJI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video. I just bought this monitor for a gift to a relative and i would like to know if my relative could find how much i pay for it. Is a billing with the monitor PRICE enclosed inside or outside the pack or just a invoice without a price?
the HP LP2475 is not precalibrated….
You must buy special type of software AND a calibration device.Holly crap….then it gets real confusing…these monitors are for professionals.
I like the sharp picture,but it could be an expensive mistake.I hope the Dell works out of the box for crying out loud.
Nice record collection you’ve got there dude!!!
And btw awesome monitor!
why the fuck do these tards think we’re interested in seeing a fucking box!!!!!!!!! It’s not Christmas day and i sure as hell dont see any fancy wrapping paper
if you dont see it, dont look for it!
i never notice it too.. but after reading alot and started looking for it, i kinda got annoyed when i found it.
I have read too that the Rev A01 fixed only the dithering and on some other forums I have read that it fixed both. In my case I see no pinkish/greenish tint, not even a subtle hint of it. So either it’s gone or I am not seeing it. And if I can’t see it, then it’s not there.
I have tried and adjusted every mode while hooked up to a PC, HD box, PS3, Bluray player for testing and I have not seen the tint yet. My next test is AdobeRGB and Photoshop, will see if I notice then.
other than that, im not drooling the monitors in this video……but all those records in the back ground LOL!
no the rev01 does not fix the tint, just the dithering.
ive been involved on hardforums and the dell community……however, it is some what minimal..
the slight tint is due to the manufacturing process
yeah i got the a01 rev
If you say so, maybe you have the Dell U2410 Rev A00 model and not the Rev A01 model.
There’s a firmware available to flash the monitor.
Let me know and i will send you the link, as it is not available through Dell yet. They are having ppl send in the monitors and flashing themselves then sending it back to the customer. however I found a link to the firmware, just in case Dell sent me the Rev A00 models, well they didn’t thank god
Anyway my nickname is LazyMan

Is yours Rev. A01?
Did you ever order one?
Make sure you get Rev A01 it sovles the problem with a pinkish green tint ans dithering in RGB mode.
Just bought 2 of them, check out my comparison test vid.
LazyMan
Sorry bro, you are totally incorrect. I have owned both and I not sure where you are getting your info.
Cheers

I just bought 2 on sale for $499 plus 10% off for opening a Dell account, which brought the cost down to $450.
If you have time check out my comparison test.
