Is the Acer AL2416WBsd – 24″ LCD Monitor good enough for gaming?
I was thinking of buying the Acer 24" LCD as a gaming monitor. I'm a hardcore gamer. So this is seriously important to me. I just ordered a new 8800GTS 640MB from Newegg which had a -$45 deal on it. Which is the best I ever seen so far. So I snatched that one up. I was thinking of getting this monitor as well. Upgrading from my Acer 19" widescreen 1440x900. By far this is the cheapest 24" on the market. I was also able to get -$15 off from a Buy.com coupon. So do you guys/girls think its worthly of hardcore gaming? There are rarely any reviews for it. So its been hard to find anything about it.

@ Han:
A 24" LCD for under $500 isn't an average deal. From the site I was shopping there were like 2-3 monitors at 24" selling under $500. This one sold for $414 with coupon compared to the $500-1,000 models.
Near same specs. Contrast ratio isn't very noticeable. It's mostly about the response time. This model has a 5ms response time which is good enough for gaming.
Acer doesn't make bad parts. They make affordable lcd monitors that sell way below their competitors. Plus with same specs.
I own 2x Acer 19" lcds and I don't know what exactly cheap plastic feels like. I just know its plastic and it will hold. I won't be rubbing my face all over it or putting pressure on it. So it doesn't really matter what it is made of.
