im getting a free 24" monitor with a computer im purchasing soon. I currently have a 22" lcd monitor that connects to my 360 using VGA cable from microsoft without any problems. i've heard that there could be some issues with 'stretching' when using HDMI cables for 24" monitors that dont have1:1 pixel mapping, since lcd monitors are 16:10. i plan on using the same VGA connection. is there going to be an issue with stretching since my monitor wont have pixel mapping? please advise.

I wouldn’t recomend it but it is not likely your moniter will have a problem, but their is a small chance and if you decide to do so just be very careful and hope it doesn’t ruin your monitor.
Just use a TV like everyone else.
